and the reflections in glass,

my warm bed to be heated by you.

for the cold in my fingers, for 

church steps.

and ember that burn then spark

into glorious flames,

igniting our bodies and souls.

for emotion, and hormones

and bodies pressed against each other.

for friends, for family

for the night sky and day.

for the stars so aloof

for you for me

for the love in our hearts

our paths to cross

and no money in our pockets.

for cranes and clouds

and for being allowed to

flourish into who we are.

for scars, tears, blood and sweat.

for dirt and grime

you being mine

and i yours.

for our time behind closed doors.
