float to you..?

Jenny, she's being hasty again. That's not good. I've been listening to a lot of Paulo Nutini at the moment. He's like Dylan, but not quite as good. Pretty much there, he just doesn't have a harmonica. Very rock 'n' roll. that is all.

it won't be long

I'm watching Across The Universe. It's pretty cool. I know people who hate it, because they think they totally ruined the orginals. Which is fair enough, but its a billion times better than High School Musicail one, two and three. It is a pretty good really, if I say so myself. The dinner scene at Max and Lucy's house (the bit at Thanks Giving). It makes me so happy. The awkwardness of it is awesome. Poor Jude. Max's parents going banana's and Jude is left sitting there trying to melt into the chair/wall/floor, and Max brings him into the covnversation. Could be worse though. Atleast Lucy is nice to him. Life is good and excellent and everything inbetween. Happy hunting kids. (:

yellow cars and sparklers

So. Life is pretty awesome. It's like being in a yellow car, some times you think; 'aw for god's sake! I'm in a freaking lemon!' but other times you think; 'this is FREAKING SWEET! I'm in a lemon!' Right now, I'm as happy as sparrow who has found a mountain of chips. I made a street style blog (here) and I think its pretty nifty. There is nothing rotten in the state of denmark on this fair morn. Summer is awesome. I like that I have a friendship which was devolped to the point where I don't even like her right, and am doing all that is in my power to wind her up.

It's not descrutive though, because we both know that I'm winding her up, and she isn't too into me right now either. It's cool, because she won't hold it against me, and I won't hold it against her. It is secrutiy that rocks. Because if tomorrow something awful happens, I know I can call her, and she'll be there. (:

split -seconds.

It's been a good weekend. Date went well. The party was character bulidling and awesome. I am finished exams, and I feel like everything is most definately all good. I cut my frindge so its more of a frindge. Zombieland comes out the day Mya arrives (SQUEE!), which is cool, because it looks pretty gosh darn awesome. It has Woody Harrelson (a guy I have a lot of respect for) in it. He is pretty tank. Not only was he Micky Knox in Natural Born Killers, but he's a vegan and scaled the San Francisco bridge in order to protest climate change, or animal curlety, or knocking down the forrests or something. He's a hippy, and he is completely and utterly brilliant. Robert di Niro is pretty awesome too. I never realised how prolyfic he was at being in movies. He's been in some good ones (The Departed, Kill Bill vol. 2, etcetc) that is all for now. Happy hunting! :D

Shakespeare - he's in the alley.

Summer is just around the corner, I have my last two exams on thursday, I returned a libray book, got my phone fixed, I'll be seeing Mya at some point before the new year (hopefully), and have 80kidz on my ipod. Life is freakin' sweet right now there is no doubt about it. Drew from C4 reminds me of the lead character from A Clockwork Orange - but not as cool. Happy hunting!

There's an elephant in that room...

Big mixer; "Follow me to the worksite me boy!" Little mixer; "Sure pa!"

I feel infinite.

There's a preacher on the television telling me that if I was a jewish boy, and a roman solider told me to carry his pack (because that's how it was ladies and gentlemen!) a mile, then I should carry the pack two miles. I missed what he said next, I jumped back into the conversation at; It is outside the law, Halleuhula! I was just told my way of life was hollow and shallow. That isn't very encourging or nice. I don't have anything against preachers of any kind though. Some people want to believe in something, and that's their choice. As long as you don't shove it down my throat (I don't mind people who hand out leaflets - they aren't as bad as you think). No thank you, I don't want a peice of paper that tells me all about the Lord. Oh well. The quote above I think is quite sweet and real and true. Explosive even! I went out on a date on Friday. It went well. It was nice to be able to disagree with someone (who I know, but not really well) and it not affect the relationship. I also watched A Clockwork Orange oh my little brothers. It was really good. Did it kick Jesus Christ Superstar out of my top five movies? I think so. It is a good movie, if you haven't seen it, you should. More KOOL quotes below. Happy hunting team.

Welcome to the Badlands.

There is a spread in Russh that Derek Henderson, which is pretty fantastic. It's based on the badlands, and its really cool. Two more of my favourites below, see the rest here. I highly recomend it. English exam tomorrow. Fingers crossed. Happy hunting.

I like pastles...

I put hands up! They're playing my song! :D Just joking.

Eye-candy for your brain

Stolen Girlfriends Club is awesome. I probably go on about them too much, but I really like them.  All of the images in this post are SGC. Talk about addicted? It's good though, because they are a New Zealand label, and anything made or designed in this fair country has to be good. Or maybe its my patriotic side rearing its head again. The All Whites (whoever they are - thats a joke by the way...) are in the soccer world cup. Yay! I don't get why its so exciting, but a lot of people are over the moon about it, so why not?

I love that I'm doing calculus. More SGC below - well, one photo. But it's something! (: Fantastic foraging feral kids.

Crying lightning

On Wednesday, I did two things. Firstly, I brought a pair of AQUAMARINE DOCS (some not-so-helpful pictures below. I just couldn't capture the awesomeness of them)! They're not real, but they are an obnoxious colour. It's silly how excited I got (and still am) about them. They are pretty much everything I would ever want in a shoe. Except being half a size too big because they had no half sizes. But still, awesome nonetheless. The second thing I did was go and see The September Issue with my dear mother, and it was pretty cool. I like Grace Coddington a lot. I like her slightly more than I like Anna Wintour. They are both super kick ass and the movie (documentary?) was right on the money. I can't wait for Valentino: The Last Emporer to come out on the twenty third of this month. I can't spell.. I know. But the point is, it is an epic month for good movies.

The purple heels are New Zealand made David Ellmans (how do you spell his name...?), the red ones are Melissa's I hardly ever wear, but are still cool, and then, there are my lovely jubbly docs! Aren't the beautiful.

I feel like such a proud parent.
Happy hunting little Dianas.

Starwars.

This is freaking sweet. I love the way fashion is slowly sliding into the more arty side of things. Everyone's jumping on the band wagon. This is another example of it. I really like it though. Lonely Hearts is freaking sweet anyway. I might not like the use of leather (does references to biker culture in fashion a good thing?), but that does not mean that that the collection as a whole is pretty awesome. I really like sequins, and they make good use of the shiny bits of plastic. The use of sillohent, colours and shapes is pretty awesome too. The fourteenth dress out of the thirty five is my favorite. I like the red colour and the curves juxaposed with the black and the straight lines. Ok, so they aren't really straight. But still... It's awesome. Highly recommend taking a look. Fortunate foraging kiddos.

The Red Barn.

I saw The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus tonight. It was pretty aweseome. Tom Waits was brilliant. I'm going to put a lot of his songs/albums on my ipod because he has converted me with his performance. Are all singers good at acting? Beyonce isn't half bad, and in Black Snake Moan (a film I highly recommend) JT does his mother proud. No, but really, see Black Snake Moan. It's brilliant. Almost every single character is screwed up in some way, but its okay, because in the end its a quaint story. The Imaginarium was also very quaint. Quaint seems to be the new word of the day. Lucky pickings children.

"I'm a damsel, I'm in distress, I can handle this!"

I like sports and I don't care who knows!
I am studying like a mofo - and starting to wonder why? Ah yes, because it is an incredible feeling when you get your results and there's a good helping of merits and excellences in the mix. The blood, sweat and occassional tears now will mean better emotions later on. Winner. Not much is happening really. Just studying until my brain leaks out my ears and I give up and lie on my bedroom floor singing along to Disney songs because I am in fact that cool. Megara is the best Disney princess. She isn't really a princess, which makes her even cool. Next dress-up party. I'm going as her FTW. Happy courting children.

Happines canned.

I have a date sometime. Which would be a welcome break from studying and having my head cave in. Hopefully it will be awesome. Fingers crossed. I have faith he's not a dickhead. No, scratch that. He isn't a dickhead - he dealt with all those super classy (not) texts on Saturday night. He's cool. And nice. Enough mush woman! Jeez, you'd think I'd be more mature. But no, and I'm going to enjoy the feelings. (: On other notes, exams are 12 days away, and I'm panicking now. Off to write an essay on road movies - what joy.
Happy hunting feral children.

Hallow's eve

More photos below.

Saturday night was halloween. It was pretty awesome, just by the by. I fell off my chair, was punched in the boob (yes, it IS bruising!), puked red watery-stuff into a bath-tub. Lost a couple of hours in the mayhem, ate too many lollies, hit someone in the face with a bottle (it was an accident!), danced like there really was no tomorrow, didn't actually take many photos on the night, hung out with Bob Marley, a vampire, Satan, Pippie Longstockings, Little Red Riding Hood and both Mickey and Minnie Mouse. It was mega sweet though. Love it.

This is Daniel being a cool kat with offensive glasses.

Photo from Georgia! Much respect!

Photo from Georgia! Thanks man.

Photo is credited to Georgia. (: Danke.

life, the universe and everything.

I like the night-time sky. I think the picture above is like the universe. See the nebula? (: I like to think that we're not the only ones in the universe, simply because I think it would be fun to see something that - hopefully - humans have never thought of. Like a new colour. Try and think of a brand new colour. Can you? I can't. It's harder that it looks I reckon. Exams are coming up, and its pretty scary, but its okay because Halloween is tomorrow and that's freaking exciting. Get it? FREAKing exciting? Haha. I'm so funny. (:
Happy hunting feral-kids.

Assorted lands and hats.

A good night in Maggieland (IE; Maggie's house)

Ok. So there is only one land, and one hat in this post. (: I'm sure you'll forgive me at some point. On an more exciting note; Halloween is on saturday, and fo' shizzle I am taking my camera. This means that not only will it be an awesome night, but the awesomeness with be documented in the form of pixles for me to share with the entire world. In the past couple of hours I aquired a new hat! I quite like it, but it would be nice to know what you think (photo below), because I get the feeling its hobo-chic and not really all that warm. The photos aren't great. It is pretty much blue around the top bit. (: Happy hunting kiddies.
